Come in. Sit down. Stay a while.

Inside Josie'smorning rush, such as it is

A little coffee bar on Ludlow Street. Good espresso, better company, and pastries that are usually gone by two.

Pull up a chair.
a note from Josie

I opened this place in 2019 with a secondhand espresso machine I couldn't really afford and one rule: everybody gets a good cup and somewhere to sit.

That's still the whole plan. The wifi works, but the password lives on the chalkboard so you have to say hi first. The playlist is mine and I'm not sorry about it. And yes, we run out of pastries early. Come before noon and we'll get along fine.

When we're around

We open early because Marcus needs his cortado. We close when the pastries run out — which on a good Saturday is embarrassingly early.
